She recently returned Down Under after spending more than a decade living in the United States with her family.

And Tammin Sursok celebrated the uniquely American holiday of Thanksgiving this week as she brought her family and friends together for a gathering in Queensland.

The South-African born Aussie actress, 38, stunned in an emerald green mini dress by Zimmermann, which retails for $1,650, in photos from the lavish lunch.

Tammin rented the gorgeous frock from a dress hire website. 

The stylish number featured cut-outs over the bust, a mini design and long sleeves which looked gorgeous on the former Home and Away star.

She wore her long dark locks loosely and her makeup comprised dewy foundation and a soft pink lip.

Her husband, film producer Sean McEwen, looked dapper in a white-and-green striped shirt and beige pants. 

Tammin set up long tables with elaborate floral displays and hired chefs to prepare traditional Thanksgiving food, including a roast turkey.

She revealed on Instagram she’d managed to pull the event together in a week and was thrilled with the results.

‘A week ago I decided to throw Thanksgiving for my new friends, who have now become family, over here in Australia. I’ve never had a Thanksgiving on this side of the world and I was so honored to introduce them to a very American celebration,’ she explained.

She added that her first Aussie Thanksgiving was ‘so special’. 

Tammin returned to Australia earlier this year after living in the U.S with her husband Sean and their daughters, Phoenix, seven, and Lennon, two, for years.

She originally came back to shoot a film in Australia and has been in the country ever since. It remains unclear if the move is permanent.
