Brian Daboll has picked his defensive coordinator.
The Giants are hiring Don “Wink” Martindale as their new defensive coordinator, according to NFL Network, to fill the void created when Patrick Graham left last week to take the same role with the Raiders.

Martindale, 58, spent the last 10 years with the Ravens. He was their defensive coordinator for four years before the two sides parted ways last month.
The Giants also interviewed Sean Desai, Steve Wilks, Jim Schwartz and Teryl Austin for the opening. The Steelers promoted Austin to defensive coordinator after his Giants interview.
Daboll chose Chiefs quarterbacks coach Mike Kafka last week to be the Giants’ offensive coordinator.
