The vaccine rollout is now being extended to more priority groups with all those aged 65 and over and anyone deemed clinically vulnerable aged 16 to 64 being invited to take the vaccine now. But what time will Mr Johnson speak today?
The UK confirmed 15 million people had received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine on Sunday.
Speaking of the news, Mr Johnson hailed it as an “extraordinary feat”.
Mr Johnson said: “Over two months this country has achieved an extraordinary feat, administering a total of 15 million jabs into the arms of the most vulnerable people in the country.”
He added: “It has been a truly national, UK-wide effort. We have done it together.”
